Rape Victims - The Fallen Angels

One of the things that my mind or heart can't accept is rape. I just hate rapists and I wish there will be punitive punishments for rapists. I hope in the near future, rapists will have their parts cut and tattooed rapist on their fore head and let them live among the community. That just my angry part of my self towards rapists.
Well, today we will talk about not how to avoid rape but what you need to do and overcome the trauma after the dark incident. I will like to address the rape victims as the fallen angels in this post. Dear fallen angels I will like to say this all of you, just remember you guys are not all alone. You have us - the better community.

Here We go:

A: GET HELP IMMEDIATELY -  Even if there is not a scratch on your body, rape is an extremely serious trauma and a deep injustice. No one should go through the trauma of rape alone. You're probably going to need many kinds of help for at least a couple of months from friends, associates, and professionals. You deserve all the help you need, no matter what the circumstances of the rape.
A common problem for rape victims is that it's very difficult to ask for help because the rape has made them feel ashamed, weak, and wounded. If you're finding it difficult to ask for help, here's what to do. Pick a special friend and ask that friend to help you find more help. Ask that special friend to help you think of other people who would be good for different kinds of help. Ask your friend to make the phone calls for you.

B: ALWAYS HAVE SOME ACCOMPANY YOU - Whoever you want to meet with regards to the dark incident; let it be the detective, counselor, family members, friends etc. In fact it is a good idea to have someone beside you when you are making phone calls. Don't be alone in any circumstances. Be accompanied.

C: GET YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED ASAP - The longer the time taken to get answers for your question it make your anxiety level high and gets you more depressed. Throughout the dealing of your dark incident, ask whatever questions that runs on your mind and don't feel ashamed. You have all the rights and if the person is negligent call the person's boss and get things sought out. Don't Be SHY!!!

D: TELL YOUR PART CLEARLY - Whenever you make phone calls there is tendency it is answered by automated phone system, don't hesitate leave a message clearly on whatever you wanted to say. Always prepare summary of your case whenever you want to talk to the authorities. The intense emotions you feel following a rape can overtake you unpredictably, especially when you are talking with others about the assault. When this happens your communication can easily become fragmented, frantic, and incoherent. So prepare yourself what you want to say so that it helps the authority to build up a good case. Always keep a note book, write down what you wanted to ask and what people answered so that you remember. This will help you to stay focused throughout the ordeal.

E: NEVER MAKE DECISIONS ON THE SPOT - Always take time to give your decision, consult with your attorney or a friend before you make decision. You may never know how it might affect you later on. Always be cautious when it comes to making decisions. Wrong move can make you more traumatized.

Lastly, Remember you are not alone and do a little favor by making a police report and saving other women's pride. We stand against rape, mean while we do our best to help the fallen angels.

By not coming forward (about rape), you make yourself a victim forever

God Bless Us!!!!

The topic has been selected and the topic is pre-marital sex is may be morally wrong but it is still acceptable. JiNaDa says YES to pre-marital sex while Butterfly says NO to pre-marital sex !!!!

Introduction by FreeMahesa aka Waste_Space :

Pre-marital sex is defined as sexual intercourse regardless of sex before marriage. This battle will solely focus on pre-marital sex not on gender and sexual preference based arguments. Therefore I advise the battling authors to stay focus. This round agrees pre-marital sex is morally wrong as we have to adhere the Malaysian law. Preferably arguments should be based on the other factors that contribute and the consequences. The longer the intro the more I troll. Lets Begin the Battle with JiNaDa. All the Best Battling Authors.

Concerned Citizen / Netizen of the Indian Society

Dear All,

I believe our IPT students can differentiate between good and bad, hope they will not buy the idea propagated by cheap mindset political leaders which will make our community begging for basic necessities- I truly cannot understand what is there to celebrate about for food and facilities going for temple for IPT students. I thought food is basic need and practicing religion is basic rights under the Malaysian constitution. The leaders must be accountable for this to Rakyat without assuming  these as privileges. Until when we are going to beg for our basic needs and rights?

We are going to celebrate 54th  years of independence but what is our situation now? Just for thoughts, we are facing problems from labor ward to graveyard. ( Partly our community members and leaders setback as well)

1. We still have BC & IC issue
2. Lack of facilities in Tamil school - pre independence school building still in use
3. Less than 28% of SJKT have preschools - but KSSR designed in consideration these pupils attended    preschools ( approx. 23k pupils age of 5 & 6 didn't attend preschool)
4. Only 30% of SJKT have computer labs ( not sure how many still in operation) in current IT age.
5. Government promote "1 murid 1 sukan" but most of our school didn't  have minimum size of playing field.
6. Most of the school didn't have proper science or living skills lab
7. 18% of our Tamil school teachers are untrained teachers
8. Most of tamil school land owned by private company or individual
9. Interlok ????
10. SPM 10 subjects - consequences on Tamil language & literature
11. STPM - why become less popular among indian students - they willing take loans and enroll in private institution even stpm is almost free of cost?
12. JPA / other scholarship - One of the top national secret
13. Critical / professional course enrolment in IPTA - what is the number and progress?
14. Employment rate after graduate ?
15. Access to micro and macro credit facilities for our young entrepreneurs?
16. State welfare support reach-ability to our poor peoples?
17. Poverty eradication success rate ?
18. Anti social activities among our youth?
19. We are struggling to gather 6 k youth to enrol in skills training institutions but an indian based party have 3k branch leaders nationwide. Why not the leaders recruit 2 people per branch - in future his/her total generation will be uplifted
20. We offer incentives to encourage leaders to put effort to make people register as voters - What is our patriotism level? (a  friend of doing it voluntary by age of 20 as part of his national service)
21. Temple issue - when we are going to have standard way of build and maintaining the divine place?
22. Authorities are aggressively promoting support programmes for single parents but what is divorce rate in our community & what are the preventive measurements???
23. Almost alternate day we can read about house land and grave yard land issues in our dailies.

I believe there will be more issues and partly is our community members' fault and irresponsible mentality that leads to these problems. As responsible community members and accountable leaders, they have to rectify the core issues which rape our community's progress.

How many of these problems have been given deep thoughts, debated, developed action plan and implemented, monitored and evaluated  in recent so called sole indian representative AGM's?

But despite all the above, we have great achievements that have made our community and country proud. Thanks and salute to them for their efforts.

Salam Merdeka

Upcoming posts will be more on this with statistical review and proofs.

Malaysia is better than Japan, unbelievable?

During the regime of Tun Dr. Mahathir , he came with an idea of “Look to the East” policy, which means to take examples of the Eastern countries such as Japan and Korea to build an advanced nation. Most of the Malaysians agree that Japan is a better country than Malaysia in many ways. Japan even said to be 50 years ahead of Malaysia which means whatever that present now in Japan only can be seen in Malaysia in 2061.
But, does any Malaysian ever thought that Malaysia is much more blessed with many things? Let’s see:

      1.       GEOGRAPHY

Japan is situated in the “Pacific Ring of Fire” where they are prone to different types of natural disasters. Tsunami, earth quake, volcano eruptions  and so on. We should be thankful that we are in the safe zone.

      2.       NATURAL RESOURCES

Japan is a country that advanced just by their fishing industries. They have one of the largest fishing industries in the world. Nevertheless their economy is through advancement in technologies and automobile industries. As for Malaysia, since before independence, the British came to Malaya for its natural resources. Timber is a valuable source that the British really wanted. Other than that, we have rubber industries which were high in demand in  the global market once a upon a time. We also have petroleum. Although our petroleum production is not one of the biggest in the world, but thankful God blessed us with it. Besides that , we also have oil palm and other productions.

      3.       POLITICS

Japan politics are always not stable. Japan had 61 Prime Ministers  from 1868 till now. Some of them had the post for more than once.  For the past 10 years they had 6 prime ministers. Malaysia politic can be said in a stable condition. Since independence in 1957, Malaysians had 6 PMs in 54 years. There were 2 PMs for the past 10 years and it has been Barisan Nasional Coalition which was formed in 1973 as the successor to the Alliance (Perikatan) as the ruling party.

     4.       CATASTROPHIC

Hiroshima was bombed on the 6th of August 1945 while Nagasaki was bombed on the 9th of august 1945. That was the end of World War II.  After the bombing, there was nothing left. It was all gone. You can stand at one end and you can see the other end. Most of them also suffered from chemical diseases and radiation over the years. Malaysia, thankful nothing like that happened.

Before & After

A baby after the catastrophe

But today, this is how Japan looks like. None will believe that a nation that had been blasted by 2 atom bombs has stood up so fast like this.
Does anyone wonder what had made Japan to be like this?

THE PEOPLE- THE ULTIMATE POWER

This is the only factor that Japan beats Malaysia. Their citizens. Yeah it’s their people. After the World War II, the Japanese took oath to build their nation that will be amazed by other nations. They had proved that. From my further readings, I found interesting stories about the Japanese.

      1.       4 hours sleep a day is enough for them
      2.       Most of the will read book and not waste their time waiting for public transport.
      3.       They have a great patriotism toward their nation. They will stop their car and stand by their car if their
            national anthem is played.
      4.       “Kamikaze” means no fear to die.
      5.       Japan's literacy rate is almost 100%.
      6.       Average life expectancy in Japan is one of the highest in the world. Japanese people live an average of 4
years longer than Americans. This is because they practice balanced diet.

Well, most Malaysians had to agree that we lose in this aspect.  Do we really respect our national anthem? Do we always complain that we are unfortunate to be in Malaysia? Ask yourself.

It is not matter what the country had done for you; it is what you had done for the country.

So,what had you done for your country?

Come on fellow Malaysians, buck up and push the limits.
We stand together, without any racial, social, demographic differences. Stand as one for our beloved Malaysia.

MALAYSIA, TANAH TUMPAHNYA DARAHKU!!

Why voting is important?

This topic is requested by our follower, Mr.Haree.

10 REASONS TO VOTE

1. IT IS YOUR RIGHTS- every single citizen who is above 21 years old is capable of voting. Whatever party that you want to vote, it is your decision. No one can question you.

2. EVERY VOTE COUNTS- Maybe you will ask yourself, “Will a single vote make difference?” So, why bother? The truth is that your vote does count and you do make a difference every time you vote. You may think it’s just one vote, but what if there are 1000 people who thought the same?

3.TO CANCEL OUT SOMEONE ELSE’S VOTE- You would not know if your mother, father or friends vote against you. You can cancel out their vote.

4.IF YOU DO NOT VOTE, SOMEONE ELSE WILL VOTE FOR YOU – phantom voters? No evidence but it could be true.

5.YOU CANNOT COMPLAIN IF YOU DID NOT VOTE- Well, technically you can, but I will taunt you mercilessly. It is a simple equation-- when you vote, you earn the right to gripe.

6.CHOOSE WHO WILL MAKE DECISIONS FOR YOUR COUNTRY- after election, every decisions made by the people in power will be the final decision. Do not regret if there are few decisions which benefits certain people, not the whole community.

7.VOTE FOR THE NEXT GENERATION- Decisions we make today impact our children, grandchildren and all generations that follow. Make choices that will improve their lives by voting. It also sets a good example and encourages civil responsibility.

8.DEMOCRACY- feel how a real democracy country works. The people has the right to change the government.

9.PATRIOTISM -  as a part of being patriotic to the nation, you choose your leader so that your country will be better than before. Love your country.

10.DO OR DIE- It Is not like festivals that come yearly. Once you missed it, you need to wait till the next general election which comes minimum once every 3 years.

10 REASONS FOR YOUNG GENERATIONS TO VOTE

If they can vote, why can't you?

1)BUST THE STEREOTYPE
"Young people are lazy, they don't care, they won't vote." That's what they say. Let's prove them wrong. Young voters have to represent. Honestly, I'm sick and tired of hearing that our generation is apathetic and too self-involved to care about politics. It's just not true, and we need to change that mentality. Fine, we spend too much time on Facebook, but it's all for the greater good. IN FACT, IF ALL THE YOUNG GENERATIONS UNITE, WE CAN DECIDE THE GOVERNMENT. OUR POPULATION COUNTS MORE!!

2)LESS EFFORTS TO MAKE THE DIFFERENCES
If you're not registered, do it now. It only takes a couple of minutes. If you don't vote, I DON’T THINK YOU DESERVE TO CELEBRATE 31ST AUGUST AND 16TH SEPTEMBER, HONESTLY.

3)RUKUN NEGARA
The 2ND principle-KESETIAAN KEPADA RAJA DAN NEGARA AND 3RD principal KELUHURAN PERLEMBAGAAN.

4)LOST AND GAIN
Young people have the most to gain and lose in any election because they have to live with the consequences longer than anyone else.

5)FUN AND ENJOY
You can share your voting experiences with friends. And you can tease those who didn’t cast their vote as being invaluable to our country.

6)DEMOCRACY
Feel the power in your hands. “I CHOOSE MY LEADER.I DETERMINE MY COUNTRY’S FATE”.

7)FANATICISM
It is something like supporting a sports team. If the team wins, you will be happy. TRY AND SEE. IT’S A GREAT FEELING.

8)WISER DECISION
Young generations have more access to the IT world. So they are able get news from alternative medias to determine what is right and wrong.

9)FIT VOTERS
Young generations are more fit and healthy compared to elderly. So, we are able to go to the voting area without any problem.

10)BONUS REASON
At the polling location, you might get to finally meet that cute guy or girl you always see in your neighborhood. Plus, they'll be instantly impressed by your devotion to civic duty.

For those who have not registered, the deadline is 30TH September 2011. If you missed it, you can’t vote for the coming general election- MALAYSIANS only.

bheng’s wish is that there will be more younger generations will register as voters and vote during the elections. Therefore, spread this article, get into every single youth of this country. Tell them, inform them, that the country needs you. Please visit REG2VOTE for more information.

The Hacker Attitude

Hackers with attitude
Hackers solve problems and build things, and they believe in freedom and voluntary mutual help. To be accepted as a hacker, you have to behave as though you have this kind of attitude yourself. And to behave as though you have the attitude, you have to really believe the attitude.

But if you think of cultivating hacker attitudes as just a way to gain acceptance in the culture, you'll miss the point. Becoming the kind of person who believes these things is important for you  for helping you learn and keeping you motivated. As with all creative arts, the most effective way to become a master is to imitate the mind-set of masters not just intellectually but emotionally as well.

So, if you want to be a hacker, repeat the following things until you believe them:

1. The world is full of fascinating problems waiting to be solved.

Being a hacker is lots of fun, but it's a kind of fun that takes lots of effort. The effort takes motivation. Successful athletes get their motivation from a kind of physical delight in making their bodies perform, in pushing themselves past their own physical limits. Similarly, to be a hacker you have to get a basic thrill from solving problems, sharpening your skills, and exercising your intelligence.
If you aren't the kind of person that feels this way naturally, you'll need to become one in order to make it as a hacker. Otherwise you'll find your hacking energy is sapped by distractions like sex, money, and social approval.
(You also have to develop a kind of faith in your own learning capacity  a belief that even though you may not know all of what you need to solve a problem, if you tackle just a piece of it and learn from that, you'll learn enough to solve the next piece and so on, until you're done.)

2. No problem should ever have to be solved twice.

Creative brains are a valuable, limited resource. They shouldn't be wasted on re-inventing the wheel when there are so many fascinating new problems waiting out there.
To behave like a hacker, you have to believe that the thinking time of other hackers is precious  so much so that it's almost a moral duty for you to share information, solve problems and then give the solutions away just so other hackers can solve new problems instead of having to perpetually re-address old ones.
Note, however, that "No problem should ever have to be solved twice." does not imply that you have to consider all existing solutions sacred, or that there is only one right solution to any given problem. Often, we learn a lot about the problem that we didn't know before by studying the first cut at a solution. It's OK, and often necessary, to decide that we can do better. What's not OK is artificial technical, legal, or institutional barriers (like closed-source code) that prevent a good solution from being re-used and force people to re-invent wheels.
(You don't have to believe that you're obligated to give all your creative product away, though the hackers that do are the ones that get most respect from other hackers. It's consistent with hacker values to sell enough of it to keep you in food and rent and computers. It's fine to use your hacking skills to support a family or even get rich, as long as you don't forget your loyalty to your art and your fellow hackers while doing it.)

3. Boredom and drudgery are evil.

Hackers (and creative people in general) should never be bored or have to drudge at stupid repetitive work, because when this happens it means they aren't doing what only they can do  solve new problems. This wastefulness hurts everybody. Therefore boredom and drudgery are not just unpleasant but actually evil.
To behave like a hacker, you have to believe this enough to want to automate away the boring bits as much as possible, not just for yourself but for everybody else (especially other hackers).
(There is one apparent exception to this. Hackers will sometimes do things that may seem repetitive or boring to an observer as a mind-clearing exercise, or in order to acquire a skill or have some particular kind of experience you can't have otherwise. But this is by choice  nobody who can think should ever be forced into a situation that bores them.)

4. Freedom is good.

Hackers are naturally anti-authoritarian. Anyone who can give you orders can stop you from solving whatever problem you're being fascinated by  and, given the way authoritarian minds work, will generally find some appallingly stupid reason to do so. So the authoritarian attitude has to be fought wherever you find it, lest it smother you and other hackers.
(This isn't the same as fighting all authority. Children need to be guided and criminals restrained. A hacker may agree to accept some kinds of authority in order to get something he wants more than the time he spends following orders. But that's a limited, conscious bargain; the kind of personal surrender authoritarians want is not on offer.)
Authoritarians thrive on censorship and secrecy. And they distrust voluntary cooperation and information-sharing  they only like cooperation™ that they control. So to behave like a hacker, you have to develop an instinctive hostility to censorship, secrecy, and the use of force or deception to compel responsible adults. And you have to be willing to act on that belief.

5. Attitude is no substitute for competence.

To be a hacker, you have to develop some of these attitudes. But copping an attitude alone won't make you a hacker, any more than it will make you a champion athlete or a rock star. Becoming a hacker will take intelligence, practice, dedication, and hard work.
Therefore, you have to learn to distrust attitude and respect competence of every kind. Hackers won't let posers waste their time, but they worship competence  especially competence at hacking, but competence at anything is valued. Competence at demanding skills that few can master is especially good, and competence at demanding skills that involve mental acuteness, craft, and concentration is best.
If you revere competence, you'll enjoy developing it in yourself  the hard work and dedication will become a kind of intense play rather than drudgery. That attitude is vital to becoming a hacker.

Operation Unblock - Help Malaysians get around filters and able to download again

Operation Unblock – Help Malaysians get around filters and able to download again.

NOTICE : This is not related to Anonymous / any others hacktivism group! – We are not going to attack this attack that , We have our OpUnblock to help all of you to get around the filters :)
  • See below for more guide & info! Sorry for the long grandma story
PROBLEM: Malaysia blocks filesharing sites.
GOAL: * Help Malaysians get around filters (http://bit.ly/kwMKVb)
            * Create media attention for the cause
            * Inform Malaysians of the existence of the op and invite them to join us
            * Make websites accessible again – either by disabling the filter or making the government disable it.
            * It’s just about giving the people back their freedom

We are not against copyright but we hate censorship and they are just merely FILE HOSTING sites for God’s sake.
It’s the account holders who share their links to pirated contents over the net to the public that they should be going after and DMCA is an act. it’s not an organization or a government agency. you cannot report to an act. you can report using DMCA as a tool (an act). Like for example: Kamu didapati bersalah di atas kanun keseksaan bla bla (an act).

Blocking websites is ILLEGAL, It is illegal due to a number of things:
- the websites are based outside malaysia, which is outside of Malaysia’s jurisdiction
- MCMC’s Internet Freedom guarantee
- UN declared that internet access is a universal human right (http://www.du.edu/korbel/hrhw/volumes/2004/best-2004.pdf )

Filesharing IS NOT ILLEGAL. Copying data is the technical backbone of the internet. If you retrieve a data from say a server in Mongolia, It will be sent AND copied to every server that it traverses to reach you. To truly block an illegal file, would mean to block every single possible node point across the world to you, which would mean TMNET/MAXIS/CELCOM/YES/DIGI/etc servers as well. Filesharing has been around since even before photostat machines were invented.

How about banning other storage sites such as Microsoft SkyDrive, Amazon Cloud, Apple’s iCloud?
Ban the use of emails with large inbox sizes because friends are sending me files and sharing their private content with me such as photo albums, work documents, etc. You dare claim that you have the right to see them too? On what basis? That’s over the line of individual privacy.

2. Set up mirrors of filesharing sites
-> Use something like httrack/wget to set up a mirror of thepiratebay etc on some spare server space? Suggestions welcome. There is already http://malaysiabay.org/, mirror of TPB, just to let everyone know.

3. Set up alternatives
Basically, set up your own filesharing sites. Make them as accessible as possible
Multiple domains, multiple IPs, etc. Spread infomation about other file shairs

4. Download Now : http://bit.ly/dlnn
Plain and simple: DownloadNow is a service which allows you to download files from the most popular hosting websites, such as fileserve.com or megaupload.com. From this day on you do not need to have paid accounts on multiple hosting websites.
